1984

Pastor William Kessel

Pastor William Kessel begins gathering an ELS mission congregation in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area.

First Service, September 23, 1984

1985
Christ the Cornerstone Lutheran Church is formally chartered

1986
Pastor Kessel accepts a call to Bethany Lutheran College and is succeeded by Pastor Robert McMiller

Church Building Under Construction

1991
The church building on Jomax Road is dedicated.

1995
Internal difficulties led to the dissolution of Christ the Cornerstone as an incorporated congregation of the ELS.

1996
A core group from the congregation reorganizes as Redeemer Lutheran Church, continuing to worship in the same building.

1997
Klebe Brumble begins his service as Pastor at Redeemer

2002
The education and fellowship wing is dedicated.

Pastor Brumble completes his service as Pastor
Pastor Norman Madson begins serving as Interim Pastor.

2005
Pastor Madson completes his service as Interim Pastor
David Jay Webber begins his service as Pastor.
