The Rev. Aaron Hamilton was born in 1971. He graduated from Northwestern College (1994) and Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary (1998). He was ordained on July 11, 1998, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard, Washington, and served as a home missionary in Gig Harbor, Washington, until 2001. He has served Hope Lutheran in West Jordan, Utah (2001–13); Concordia Lutheran in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (2013–23); and Redeemer Lutheran in Scottsdale, Arizona (at present). He has also served on the synod’s Board for Education and Youth (2005–2012) and Board for Home Outreach (2012–present).
